PhotoFit is a free, client-side web tool that helps users resize and optimize images to meet specific photo requirements for Indian exams and passport applications. All image processing occurs entirely in your browser using JavaScript.

DISCLAIMER: While we strive to provide accurate photo specifications for various exams and applications, we DO NOT GUARANTEE that the specifications are current, complete, or error-free. Exam requirements may change without notice.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for verifying photo requirements with the official exam/application authority before submitting your application.

3.2 Service Availability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

3.3 Image Quality

We do not guarantee that processed images will be accepted by exam authorities or government agencies. Factors such as photo quality, lighting, background, and facial expression are your responsibility.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• nkbusiness and PhotoFit shall NOT BE LIABLE for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
  • Rejection of your photo by exam/application authorities
  • Missed application deadlines due to photo issues
  • Loss of exam fees or application fees
  • Service downtime or unavailability
  • Errors in photo specifications
  • Data loss or corruption
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is ₹0 for all users).

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Verification of Requirements

You agree to:

• Verify all photo requirements with the official exam/application website
• Check that your processed photo meets all specifications before submission
• Ensure your photo complies with dress code, background, and facial expression requirements
• Keep backup copies of your original and processed photos

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted images
• Overload or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Misrepresent PhotoFit as an official government tool
• Scrape or automatically download content from the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of PhotoFit are owned by nkbusiness and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your Images: You retain all rights to images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your photos. Since images are processed client-side, we never have access to them.

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Images are processed client-side and never uploaded to our servers
• We collect anonymous analytics data via Google Analytics
• Contact form submissions are stored for 90 days
• Error reports are stored for 60 days

8. Advertising

8.1 Google AdSense

PhotoFit displays advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this service. By using PhotoFit, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Advertisements may be displayed on various pages of the website
• Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies and other tracking technologies to serve ads

8.2 Ad Interaction

Prohibited Actions: You agree NOT to:

• Click on ads with the intent to generate revenue for PhotoFit (click fraud)

• Encourage others to click on ads through deceptive means
• Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the ad serving system

Such actions violate Google AdSense policies and may result in termination of our advertising account, which could affect the availability of PhotoFit as a free service.

8.3 Third-Party Advertisers

Advertisements displayed on PhotoFit are provided by third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for:

• The content, accuracy, or claims made in advertisements
• Products or services advertised by third parties
• Any transactions between you and advertisers
• Privacy practices of advertisers (governed by their own privacy policies)

8.4 Ad Blockers

While you are free to use ad-blocking software, please understand that advertisements help us maintain PhotoFit as a free service. If ad revenue becomes insufficient, we may need to introduce alternative monetization methods or limit access to certain features.

• Your use or misuse of the Service

• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Rejection of your photo by exam/application authorities
